Florida Dealer Question...
Hi, I just visited my local dealer in south florida (county line lexus) and I test drove one and loved the car and I am thinking about buying one. Most of the cars were going from 38,???-42,???. Has anyone here bought from them or tried to see what discouting they can get from them because I told the guy I would not be getting it today but in a few months so I didnt negotiate at all. Also has anyone been to JM Lexus, I hear they are the biggest lexus dealer in the world and probley have more IS's than anywhere else so I might be able to get a nice deal there too. Thanks Mike.

I bought my car from Shannon Gorman from JM Lexus and she was great to work with - she's one of the internet specialists at JM.
Give her a call and see what kind of deal they can work for you - I ended up driving down from Melbourne to pickup my IS350 from JM since the deal was better than local.

JM is the distributor of toyota and lexus cars for the southeast. Every toyota or lexus that ports in jacksonville goes to JM which allots to the dealers in the area. So, if there is something you want, they are the best place to get it for you. Plus, their dealership is huge and pretty darn nice.

Thanks for this thread. I too live in Florida and am going to go over to JM. My local Tampa/Clearwater dealers just do not have very many cars in stock and were unable and or unwilling to bring the price of an 06 to a level I am willing to pay. I think a car ride (3 hours for me) is worth it if the deal is that good. Knowing all cars that port go thru them tells me they are the place to buy from.

If you're anywhere near the Jacksonville area I recommend talking to JP at Lexus of Jacksonville (internet sales). I've been very happy with my dealings with JP and Lexus of Jax -- better prices than I found elsewhere and first rate service. Dealer fees were 'only' $399 if I recall correctly (though I thought it was excessive at the time).

Where about is JM? I'm currently overseas but will be flying back to miami/fort lauderdale the week of thanksgiving. I would like to go test drive an IS350 that saturday. I have been reading the IS threads and I have fallen in love with that car. I cannot wait to buy my 1st lexus early next year if possible. Thanks for the info. This thread answered some questions I had about where to look in Fla.
