It plugs in the back of the radio with a harness and then into a small stick adapter which has a wire going to the dock ( does not come with a mount) .
Install takes about 20 second once the radio is out on a GS . Radio takes about 20 minutes max to remove and replace .
It allows you to change between songs through the steering wheel and radio controls .
