He told me paid 1700 for it (2300-2500 installed) at some shop near his house called easy customs,
i tried to get a brand name from him and stuff but this was all he said

"I have two compressors they are Viar and the bags are something technology and the hoses fitting and values are all half inch . I have one 8 gallon tank i have a complete air ride set up even brackets."

I asked if you could adjust the drop from the inside of the car and he said you could. and he said it could drop to maybe about an inch off the ground

he also managed to send me some pictures of the set up on his impala

but anyways just wondering if you guys think this is a good deal, or if i should get more info on the air bag setup.

1998 Lexus LS400 miles 136,663 Currently but I still drive it. $12,500

This is a custom vehicle that you can drive everyday. I have made some real nice upgrades to this vehicle. Lets start out with the Air Ride

D2 Air Suspension Setup as listed below

D2 air suspension is designed as an application specific bolt up kit including dampening adjustable shocks.

5 GALLON AIR TANK W/ 9 X 1/4 PORT X 1
HIGH SPEED COMPRESSOR X 1
SNUBBER FOR MOTOR USE X 4
HIGH PRESSURE HOSE FOR MOTOR USE X 1
HIGH–TECH SILENCERS PLATE BASE X 1
120 – 150 PSI PRESSURE SWITCH X 1
PADDLE VALVE SWITCH X 2
200 PSI DUAL NEEDLE GAUGE X 1
PADDLE VALVE SWITCH AND GAUGE BRACKET X 1
35M 1/4 AIR LINE X 1
10M POWER CORD X 1
FUSE BOX X 1
FITTINGS X 1
SHOCK ABSORBERS (INCLUDING TOP MOUNT, SHOCK BODY) WITH 36 LEVELS OF ADJUSTABLE DAMPENING X 4
AIR BAG X 4
And of course I upgraded this package with the Dakota Digital stuff to go with it as follows

DHC-2102

The DHC systems offer the utmost in flexibility to flawlessly operate any air ride system on the road today! All DHC systems offer unlimited control of the air ride system through not only the 3 user selectable preset heights, but full manual control of the air system for minor changes, eliminating bulky rocker switches! These systems also feature the “Auto Raise” innovation which will instantly bring the vehicle to a safe driving height upon starting the vehicle!

I also installed the Lorenzo WL19 Chrome Wheels which are a staggered setup, 20x8.5 front and 20x9.5 rear. I wrapped these with brand new Dunlop Sport Maxx Tires 245/35/20 front 285/30/20 rear. While I was at it, I went ahead and pulled the brake calibers apart and had them rebuilt and painted so they are like brand new and look even better.

I pulled all the exterior lights off and scuffed them and tinted them with a special paint not just your ordinary black. If you look at the headlights and foglights you can tell that they have a unique tint to them. As you can tell by now I take great pride in my vehicles. I took the entire headliner out and recovered it in black suede as well as the A pillars, B pillars, and C pillars. The sunvisors are covered in black and have been professionally stitched and reinstalled. I took out the entire center console including the a/c control panel and had them painted Gloss black. The lower part of the center console i had covered with carbon fiber. I took out the ashtray so that I could make a panel for the Dakota digital controller but i never finished that but I can if you request it to be done. All the window switches that had woodgrain I took out and painted gloss black to match the center console. I also have an Alpine W505 Double Din Radio installed in the car and all i can say is I love this thing. It plays movies when I have my son in the car and has great all around features including bluetooth handsfree telephone connection and Ipod connection. All in all this is a complete fun car to own and one of the most comfortable vehicle on the market. The only issuses I have had have been the O2 Sensors, I recently replaced both of them and this should be good for along time.

Just had major service done on my '98 GS 300 which has just over 100K miles and has been running great. Few days ago, as I was waiting at a light, the car did a quick sputter as if it was going to shut off. Panel lights came on briefly but car returned to normal. I got to work and when I opened the car, the dome light was very dim. When I tried to start the car, it wouldn't start. A second later, the dome light returned to normal and the car started fine right away.

Following day, I had just started accelerating from a red light and the car just shut itself off. Both engine and all electrical shut down. Luckily, I was able to cruise to the side of the road and put the car in neutral. A second later, car came back to life and started on the first attempt.

I took it straight to the dealer and they've had it for about 3 days and can't seem to find the problem. On board computer doesn't show anything and all electrical seem to test fine.

About 5 years ago, the car wouldn't start one night. Jump starting didn't help either. Next day, it just started on the first try. Took it to the dealer and they couldn't find anything wrong then either.

I really like my GS 300 but need to find the reason why the car would all of a sudden shutoff completely. Can anyone help me? It's still at the dealer and I'd like to give them ideas so I can get it addressed so I can keep the car.

Thanks!
