Hellow every body, I'm new im this forum, I'm from Jordan. Just buy Es300h 2013 . It is with out navigation . wondering if I can install factory navigation unit because I bought the sccreen and the mouse controller and the plastic frame for 600 $ only , can I install it into my car? If so would I need additional hardware or will it plug into my car by taking out the existing unti and just replacing it with the navagation one? If anyone has advice for me I would grealty appreciate it . And I would need an antenna or other parts ? I can get any thing for free
That's really cheap for the stock nav unit. I went the other way around, from a base ES300h with the black and white display to an aftermarket nav unit and rotary controller. All ES models have the same media processor that handles sound and Bluetooth.
The nav unit should have the GPS antenna built in and it should be a straight swap with your existing Display Audio unit. There should also be CANBUS connections to the air cond controls and steering wheel buttons. Not sure about DVD or CD player connections.
I don't know about the map data though, the 2015 model with Mark Levinson audio uses a micro SD card.
My car came with Nav so I really have no advice. However, Chromedome makes an important point, where is the map data stored? It feels like there should be a lot more to this than the display and controller.
In the 2013 the map data is stored on a hard disk, I believe. Did you get the disk drive as well? Once you have the disk drive you can upload (I.e. Buy) maps applicable to your part of the world.

were you successful with this? I’m in the same situation with my 2013. Haven’t purchased any parts, but can see them all on eBay.
the main issue is that I don’t even know if there will be a conector waiting when I remove the plastic cover that is now where the mouse controller will be.
