Do you name your ride?
My first car was a mustard yellow 1,200cc Corolla, when I was a student. I called it "My miserable little car."
Next came a Volvo 242DL. Anybody who has owned Volvos knows that they are "Maintenance Queens". Sold the Volvo to make a down payment on a house.
Next came a Chevy Chevette. It had no name, and the best thing about it was that it left my life at the rear end of a tow truck.
Next came a Sentra. She was "Ninny".
Next came a 97 Mazda Millenia. She stayed with me until this year for 13 years (had bought her used from an auction). She was definitely my "Milly".
Also had a '97 Camry. It was so plain Vanilla that I could not find a name to stick.
Now I have the obsidian 300h and her name is "Alexis". Somehow that name goes with a black Lexus. She is the most beautiful I have owned. As you can see from my list above, Alexis had a very low bar to cross.
Do you guys name your rides?
Come on, admit it.

Just "my car" and "your car" (referring to my wife's car).

the only time i "name" my car is when i refer to it with my car friends. my last car, 92 accord, was refered to as the "hoopty" and even got a sticker for it as a joke. i refer to my ES300 as the "ES", and all my previous vehicle's were refered to their chasis codes or their model.
hahaha, i see no point in it either. makes no sense to me
thats how my wife and i refer to our cars.

Absolutely!!!! My wife and I have been doing it since we've bought cars together in college. Always named after some Japanese anime character. Just what we do. Our kids refer to each vehicle by name too.

Yeh. My car and your car... The Ford is called "the 31", the Vette is "the Vette". Thought about calling the Ford "Grumpy" and the Corvette "Zippy" but then came to my senses. No names...
