She was returning a C class so i know that played a factor but if you crunch the numbers it doesnt add up but the dealer does it sometimes.
This just isn't the case. Its all math, they have to reduce a number somewhere to get the lease to calculate out a lower number. The numbers ALWAYS add up, you just may not understand how they add up.

In your sisters case there was equity in the C Class that they built into the deal.

These are financial transactions involving a lender, the dealer doesn't just "make it up".

Good move not taking over someone else's lease and getting a new car.

Unrelated, but that "rear bumper app." for $344 that most of us have is a PURE RIP-OFF.

It looks like the $344 covered more than just the bumper app. It's still looks like the dealer made some money off of it, though.

Thought they charge over $100 for just the bumper decal. That alone is a major rip.

Do any of you know what it takes to run a dealership? It seems some would like them to either go hungry or out of business.

Agreed, I'd rather pay a higher price for good service, knowing that the dealer can make decent money and keep taking care of my car for the next few years. Unfortunately a lot of dealers slap on ripoff charges and push expensive accessories instead of being open and honest with the customer.

$70 for the appliqué, and then it has to be installed. I tried to install it myself on my 2010 ES. Emphasis on tried. I'm happy to pay the dealer lol
