Default Radio **** replacement

Hello, the cap on one of my radio ***** fell off recently so I just ordered a replacement 9001022092 from my local dealer. Question is, does the old **** just pry off carefully and I press the new one on? The cap seemed to have four small prongs that engaged the base of the **** and I'm not sure what else is going on inside it. Thanks!

Instead of DIY, why not go to your dealership and have them take care of in in the service drive?

It might be simple, or in my case, I'd break something else. Next service, ask the SA if they install and show them that you bought the part from them. They're usually accommodating, or if anything, they'll tell you how difficult it is to do on your own.

Yeah, when I picked it up I asked the parts man and he tried with a screwdriver and no luck and then he called another guy over with a needle-nose and I thought, "You all don't look like you know what you're doing so please stop". I didn't have time to go the SA route today but will stop in tomorrow with **** in hand and see if Service would be able to work me in. Thanks for the inputs.
