Any experience? I am thinking of getting a 64 gb usb 3.0 drive.

Would it take long times for the system to recognize the drive?

Would the mark levinson play flac files??

I have a 128 GB USB drive. It it USB 2.0. No sense paying for a 3.0 if it doesn't help any. You might load the USB drive on your computer a little faster but the playing in the car doesn't matter. I have about 90 gigs or so and it takes a few hours to load on the USB drive. So? Copy things in the morning and when I get home it's ready to go (or at night/morning, etc.)

Read your manual clearly. You should only put MP3s and the folder layout is important if you have a zillion files. Make a folder on your computer with all the files laid out the way you want, then drag that folder to your USB drive. Or if you use iTunes you can drag the "Music" folder to your USB drive.
