GPS SD Card

To the best of my knowledge this is not possible. The map update is performed by download directly to the vehicle from a dealer database.

Yes you can. There is a microSD Slot in the centre console. Its documented in your user manual how to access it, but on mine theres a plastic plate with 'Mark Levinson' or whatever it says, that plate flips up and the SD is under it.

Is it a micro SD slot or a USB slot? I have an ES350 and it has a USB slot in the console.

Found this answer on another CL thread:
"All models have two (2) USB ports inside the Center Console under the Arm Rest. They have the interface with the Sound System and also have the 5 volt charging capability to charge you phone.
The SD Card is present only with the Navigation System but it is NOT to be used by any means by the owner because it already has a Card inside which has the Navigation current data (maps , speed limits, etc) and I understand that it is also the storage memory for current information like weather and accidents on the road. Removing it will make the Navigation System useless. It basically replaces the internal Hard Drive that older Navigation Systems used to have. The slot is located all the way down under the Sound System and Climate Controls behind a small cover that you can open if you like to take a look (there is nothing else there)."

I believe that what is causing some confusion is that the 2015 ES has the Generation 8 navigation system, which used the micro SD card. The 2013 and 2014 ES have a Generation 7 navigation system. which uses the USB connection to upgrade map data.

I didn't realize that the OP was writing from Australia. Entirely possible that their cars are different or, the NAV system is just updated from 2013-14 to Gen 8 as Les states. BTW, a Google search turned up SD cards on Ebay for Lexus cars for updated map info.
