I could have sworn that our '04 GX460 had the wood steering wheel and that the wood part also heated up but on our new ES300h, it appears that only the leather portions (located at 4 & 8) heated up. Perhaps it's a change or I may have imagined the GX features. Feedback appreciated. Does your heated steering wheel on your ES300 actually heat up all the way around?

No, the heated steering wheel on the ES only heats the portions of the wheel that are covered with leather.
