Default Gear Shifter Curved?

On the current gen ES350 is the gear shifter supposed to be slightly curved? Specifically the steel/chrome portion of the shifter stick.

Did The Rock manhandle that shifter in anger? It's supposed to be straight. I wonder how it got like that.

It is not supposed to be straight on the newly redesigned ES350/ES300h. The curve is correct and there is nothing wrong with your shifter.

Thank you so much. I feel reassured as I thought the service department at the local Lexus dealer accidentally did this.

Haha! My mistake, the gearstick on my car is also curved. It's just that the angle of the photo made it look even more bent.
