I'm 64, and actually this is my wife's Lexus, a 2013 I bought her for her birthday in 2013. She was a loyal customer of another brand automobile for a very long time but decided she wanted an ES350 this time. Me, I'm a 4Runner and Corvette guy.

I got the GX in Dec and the ES next month in Jan. I think it did help a little cause I got a better discount on the ES.

I'm 62. Bought my 2012 IS250 for myself to celebrate my 60th birthday. I owned three Honda Accord coupes prior to this car and they were all great vehicles. I've looked at the 2014 redesign of the IS and I frankly don't care for it. I'm a fan of the luxury aspects of Lexus cars, quiet ride, beautiful interiors, wood trim accents, etc. Having said that I believe my next car will be an ES350. If I can't afford a new one I'll go for a low mileage one with a CPO warranty. I can't imagine buying anything other than a Lexus.

Let me bring down the age gap.
Just turned 39 years old and felt it is the best time to get a car like this for ferrying friends, parents or parent-in-laws. It is a car built for passengers!

As someone mentioned online, where can you 'eat your fill' with Lexus provding luxury, safety, comfort, reliabilty, style, speed, superior sound system, fuel economy and price compared to European models?

I am 53. Wife is 55. We carpool so this replaces our Prius as the daily driver. RX tends to be our weekend car and will now be used more for hauling capacity since the ES trunk is so much smaller than the previous hatchback's capacity.

I am 29. You know, older gentlemen are wiser and have more life experience, so i think judging from the crowd, getting the hybrid was a good choice as a daily commuter.

In my case, perhaps more forgetful than wiser. LOL. You will definitely enjoy the hybrid and it is so unobtrusive in the 300H that you hardly notice it. Terrific car and you will enjoy the Nebula Gray Pearl as well.

I'm 45. I was a loyal Honda/Acura man for many years, but this iteration of the ES had it all and the TLX is a 1st year model (with no track record for reliability). My other car is my 2002 TL Type S (which I still drive on the weekends).

41 and my first Lexus. Just traded in a 2010 Acura TL-SH AWD. Loved how that car cornered but feeling every little bump in the PA roads was getting old. Just got the Lexus ES350-Crafted and couldn't be happier. Not as quick as the Acura off the line, but I'll trade .5 of a second to 60 mph for exponentially more comfortable ride any day of the week.

(I also have a '98 cobra with a blower if I need to go fast).

Me 34...wife 33....

First Lexus. Bought primarily for its size and price/options ratio. We needed something much larger than our WRX with a second kid on the way. Originally we were set on the new genesis but the local dealers thought they were selling BMW/Audi/Lexus vs a nice Hyundai. The ES was #2 on the list. It met our size, price, and amenities requirements. If we didn't have #2 on the way we would have the GS fsport instead.

The ES however was hard to transition to from our WRX though. Adding 20's and a nice set of springs really makes the ES look much and feel much better.
