How is the wind noise in your cars? Noticed once I hit about 35 mph that there is a good amount of wind noise coming through the passager side.

I have none. Do you have double pane glass?

It may only be available on the UL, but I'm not sure. Roll down the window enough so you can see the top of the glass. If it's double paned, you'll notice a center indent all the way around. Single paned will be smooth.

When I test drove the car is was quite no wind noise up to 70 mph, there was light rain. But now driving the car to hear slight wind noise on my driver door, and a good amount on the passenger side. Wondering if the rain sealed off certain areas. Weird thing is once I hear the noise at around 35 mph the noise really doesn't get that much worse driving on the highway 65+.

When I test drove a 2013 ES 300H that car had wind noise coming in from everywhere. I traded in a 2013 Honda Civic, which had no wind noise at any speed.

You should have the dealer check it out. Maybe there is a fix for the noise.

Excessive wind noise is not usually associated with the ES.

Is there any chance that you have paint protection film on the vehicle? If you do, do you have film on the mirrors. I've read a number of reports from people who have discovered that the film on the outside mirrors was the source of wind noise. Otherwise, wind noise with the ES should be virtually non-existent. Mine is remarkably free of wind noise, engine noise, and road noise.

Nothing on the outside mirrors. The car itself is really quite when comes to road and engine noise. The cabin being so quite and hearing the wind noise makes it worse.

I just bought a 2015 ES 350 and the wind noise is very slight.
I had a 2011 Avalon Limited and the ES is much quieter.

If I had the problem (I don't) I'd try waxing the car and mirrors and apply silicone grease to the door weatherstrips and window channel runs
Silicone grease won't harm rubber - in fact Ford & Lincoln owners manuals specifically recommend it for rubber weatherstripping

The weather was much colder this morning, and the wind noise is terrible. Once I reached 65 mph there is just to much wind noise in my car, even with the speakers on volume 35+ all I heard was wind noise. Guess it's time to use the warranty.

I have been having wind noise since day 1. I attributed it to a few things at least on my car. I haven't 100% fixed the wind noise but I am close.

-The space in between the mirror and mirror base produced a "whistling noise at high speeds" I fixed this by stuffing a rubber gasket from home depot in the space. 100% gone

-Below is a picture from the last gen ES, on my current gen the red and blue zones are where I hear wind noise like the window is slightly open. This occurs at 55 mph+ and when it rains heavy the noise is gone which make me think there is a slight air leak. So far I have placed a thin rubber gasket in the door which reduced the noise by about 50%. I then applied electrical tape to all the window seams which stopped the noise so now I have to figure out a solution...

If you want to rejuvenate your rubber seals use Gummi-Pflege, this is a German product I have been using for years on my BMW's and its brought back rubber I was ready to replace, people live by this product. Unfortunately this didn't work for my case the car is to new for the seals to start going bad.

Also the dealer thinks I am crazy they don't hear anything I told them my old civic had less wind noise.

I've noticed slightly more wind noise in the cold but my car is quiet enough that I don't need to increase the audio volume past 20. I get a faint whistling near the driver's side mirror at 60+ mph on the highway, usually when I'm near the center divider, as if the space between the window and mirror creates a venturi effect. I'll try sticking foam around the inside of the mirror to see if it lessens the noise.

Does the ES have optional double paned windows? I've seen double pane windows on the Merc S-class that are much thicker and have a laminated center, not sure how that could fit in the ES window channel.

My 2013 Honda Civic has no wind noise coming through the windows at all. When I bought my car it was raining outside and was so quite outside.

I'll be taking my car in this weekend and I'm going to take the service tech for a ride.
