Apologies for the late reply, was traveling. The number I called was 1800-255-3987, I was told an engineer would call me back within 3 days, the operator who took my call also gave me her extension for follow up. I have not heard back from anyone and it been well over 3 days, when I get home tonight I will try to find her extension and follow up. Last night it would have really came in handy, was traveling back from HKG 16 hour flight landed in NY to 30 degrees and cold car that was sitting for last 4 days tried to remote start from bus and same error message. I had though there was a shot because I noticed my phone updated the En form Remote App. However nothing but low battery error and I froze for the first 15 mins of driving, Got say heated seats are very good much better then GS as they seem to be hotter and not turn off automatically.

Well glad they are working on it, I don't see how its a cold weather issue as I have had issue in 60 degree weather too. It really sounds bad if you near the car and try it.

Be aware that on those cars with the Lexus Enform Remote enabled the key fob also can remote start the car as with the former port/dealer installed $500 unit. If you are signaling from a commuter train, use the phone app and you won't notice/care that it takes 20 seconds to start. If you are strolling to the car from the Church steps then use the fob because it works right away.

Cold weather? It was 77 degrees here and I got the low battery message every time I tried to start the car. Everything else works fine.

My Lexus Enform app indicates that I cannot start my car remotely due to a low charge in the vehicle's battery. My guy at Lexus said it is the 3rd one he has seen and is following up with Lexus. However, it does seem to only work just after I turn the car off. Once it cools down, forget it. However, it does unlock/lock the doors with no problem.

The Nav system has some design/grtaphics issues, but overall it is simpler than before.

Here is very strange thing I just got a 2015 LS460 and guess what works perfect no issues at all for starting or any other features.

They called me back from Lexus corp in TX for ES and told me to have the dealer check the DCM unit. It sounded like they had no idea what it was, so I am just going to wait it out until more customers complain and they actually have a fix before I have service try to fix something that there is no fix for. I googled DCM unit and it just the computer that is used in the car. What is really strange is at time it works but I say 1 out 10 that's how little it works. Also the notifications I shut off and still receive. I just thought it was so weird that my LS has same system and zero issues..

I think my 2015 ES 350 can use the key fob to start the engine as well. Like others, I'm affected by the Enform Remote app bug ("Low Charge" error). But if I use the key fob with the Lock-Lock-Lock sequence, it flashes the hazards, everything lights up, it goes to start, but all I hear is a click, then everything goes dark.

I'm curious if the "bug" on the app also requires a software update on the car itself since I would think you could use the remote if the app isn't working. But both exhibit the same results (click, but no start).

Yes, I just confirmed you can use the Key Fob to start the car on 2015 ES and LS. MY ES failed first time to start but lights flashed and starter clicked like it does with app, but then it started the next time I try it. MY 15 LS started every time. All you do is double click the lock button and on second click hold it until the car starts. I had no idea until I read this thread the dealer only told me about the app, I bet they don't even know you can start the car with the FOB. Cool feature until you open the door

I justpurchased a 2015 ES350. Everything works on the Enform EXCEPT the remote start. When I contacted Lexus via email, they said that the remote start was sporadic and they were working on it. I asked when it might be available and all they said was " we'll let everyone know when it is fixed".

Mine is consistantly not working and giving me the battery error. I have tried it in the garage, outside, after a trip, leaving it sit....nothing.

I hope that the Jan timeframe is right, I'm pretty disappointed in the response I received so far.... not like I bought a Ford Focus

Default I cant even get the app to work

I bought a 2015 NX on 12/29/14. I have had constant problems and still have not had the app even register. There was a two week problem in which the new vehicle VIN's were not loaded correctly, so the dealer could not complete the Enform registration.

That was finally completed yesterday morning, and now the app has been in a pending state for 24 hours since adding the VIN and access code. Now when I open the app I get the error of "We are unable to activate Lexus Enform Remote smartphone notifications for your account".

No idea what that means, needless to say I have been less then impressed with this part of my "Lexus Experience".

Your Lexus Delivery Specialist should be all over this like flies to honey. If not, raise a ruckus.

I wish that was the case, but that person doesn't even return my phones calls. I even called the Enform Support number and mentioned the error in the previous post, his suggestion..."might have to wait longer".

Support for Enform has been some of the worst support I have ever received when dealing with technology, and that's includes what I deal with every day as a Network Engineer.
