I just saw on Google Play that a new Lexus Enform Remote app came out that will remotely lock/unlock/start your 2015 model year vehicles. Will not work for us that have a 2014 ES. We are stuck with having RES+.

Has anyone used any 3rd party devices to remotely start and unlock your ES's?

I wish I was "stuck" with RES+. I just have the total waste of money RES.

As sad as it sounds, the fact that the new app includes the lock/unlock and so on is the reason i am holding out for the 2015 es300h. It does say on the lexus site that you need to have Navigation equipped ES for this to work.

Which is why the app won't work on the 2014.
The Nav is a different hardware version than the one in 2014.

The Lexus app looks very similar to the app by Viper. Anyone have a 3rd party system like Viper.com hooked up to their Lexus?

Annual fee. That's why I didn't get RES+. Sounds great to monitor your car, find it, start it, check it, etc. But it uses the cell network and it's just another monthly fee. I also don't do XM or other Lexus stuff. Everything these days is a monthly fee. People spend $100s in monthly fees they never use. I don't like monthly fees. I'd pay $500 for lifetime subscription since I keep my cars for so long...but I do not like monthly fees of anything (over-the-air TV works great.) OK, I had to get internet...LOL!
