Default Price Paid for 2014 ES 350

I'm currently in negotiation for a 2014 ES 350. MSRP $44, 511. They've come down to $43,161 and have thrown in 18" chrome wheels ($1895) for free and possibly the rear spoiler ($495). I've yet to negotiate my trade in. How good or bad is this deal so far? How much have others paid? I'm in the Dallas area.

Without being sure about the discounting levels in the Dallas area, discounts here in CA (Socal) range from about 8-14%, if you don't need Chrome wheels and spoiler, you should be able to get a better deal on a 2014 model specially since 2015 is just around the corner and about to be at the dealerships anytime within the next few weeks, hence getting a better deal for 2014 model is more likely.

Have you contacted several dealers via email to get their ball park pricing ?? that will give you an estimate on the level of discount they are providing without negotiating. Do it all via email.

I too can't speak for Dallas discounting, and to be honest i'm not a master negotiator or someone you should quote. this is just my two cents. I don't think that is a great deal to be honest. I agree, if you don't need the wheels or spoiler, don't take them and try to lower the price more. I live in NJ and I got that much off my special ordered 2015.
Also, I know that a friend of mine got 5,000 off an RX in season. so with 2015 models coming soon I think you should be able to get a much better deal.
Take a look here, https://www.clublexus.com/forums/es3...etting-41.html this is an entire thread on pricing deals.

hope this helps

Just took a quick look at the page I linked you too (the last page of the thread) and that page has an entire discussion about pricing in Dallas. Maybe you could even private message that person. I think that should help you alot.

Default Price Paid 2014 ES 350

Chrome wheels and rear spoiler are must haves for me. Sales figures are as follows.

MSRP $ 44, 511 discounted to $ 442991
Chrome wheels $ 1895 (free)
Spoiler $ 495 (free)
Tint $ 295 (free)
Invisisheild $ 425 (free)

Total Savings off MSRP = $ 4630

According to my trade in on Edmunds.com:

Trade in value is $ 22091
Private party $ 23809
Dealer retail is $25278
Dealership offered $22000

I balked and walked out on the offer. Do I still have negotiation room? All opinions appreciated.

They actually offered you TRADE value so ...why did you balk? Certainly, you would not have expected them to offer you more on your trade, right?

Ask not, want not! I asked for an additional $1500 on trade in and settled for $1100.

You said you walked out. Now, you somehow got a better deal yet you didn't come back on here to update the masses but you found my message? Pics or it didn't happen.

Whatever, Enjoy...LOL

I think that's a very good deal since those are must haves and all that is free. That's a good deal for trade in too.
