Default Edit Saved Address

So I created a new address in the Address Book but discovered that I had incorrectly entered the address street number. There is a screen to edit addresses but when you choose to edit the Location (which is the street address) all you get are arrows where you can navigate to a different position. That is not very useful as I don't know the location but I do know the correct address.

The only solution I found was to delete the address book entry and start all over. There must be a simple command to edit the street location. Just about any software I've used permits editing of the individual fields. Why is this so difficult? Hopefully I'm overlooking the obvious.
