Default Door Edge Guards for ES300h

Has anyone purchased Door Edge Guards for a ES300h lately, and if so, how much and where did you buy them? Also, do they come in body colors? My garage at work is beating the crap out of my door edges.

Thanks.

jonmanch:

I do not have the edge guards but I do have the body side moldings and they are nice.
I got mine from Sewell Lexus for the Club Lexus discount price. If you look under the "Sponsors" then "Vendor Directory" tab at the top of this page you will find a link to their website. If I remember, after you register with your Club Lexus user name you are eligible for the Club Lexus discount price which you will see on the website if you have registered correctly. Once you find the item you are looking for (under the "Hybrids" tab then "300h") there you will find installation instructions and colors they come in and your CL price. In the listing I see they come in different colors so I assume they are color matched to your car color, my side moldings are a perfect match. Hope this helps you.

I ordered them. Price was great. Much less than at my dealer.

my dealer claimed that it is not easy to install oneself, so that I should order it through them and have them install them. What did you find?

I also picked them up at Sewell with the CL discount. They were $99.00 with free shipping. I installed them myself using wife as an assistant. I think the dealer wants about $250.00 with installation. Not difficult, but much easier with two...Most difficult part is the meticulous measuring and placing required. Door edge guards look awful IMO.

I looked under Vendor directory and can't find Sewell. I am interested in the body side moldings. Are they applied with adhesive?

Sewell is no longer in the retail business. Checkout link attached. I order all my items through them. Use CL5 for an additional 10% off.

I'd love to see a picture of your installed lower chrome door strips. Also, where you got them and how much?
