I'm guessing this is the stiffer/sportier suspension equipped on ES350's with 18" wheels as well.

I wish i had known this before the purchase...
I can't wait to put some miles on my es300h. So i can replace the suspension with the soft version of es350 i hope that helps little. I can't change nyc roads(worst roads in whole country, but who u going to complain to?) But i can alway change car sorry lexus es300h size is here but no comfort

Gas consumption is ok when u drive like old lady otherwise is around 33mpg, mark levinson way off compared to ls460 and bigest disappointment is seats comfort and leather quality i got the ul version with perforated leather not nulux and looks like it has at least 300k on them all wrinkled just terrible my ls 460 seats with 260 k on it looked much better and seats looked like new my previus ls430 with 420k looked newer inside. I use my cars for livery services i know lexus in and out i love lex for quality ,reliability and long lasting compared to other makes like bmw (good until 70k) or benz (good for 80k without repairs) but i don't think so es300h will stand like his predecessors. That's my 2 cents
As much as I like my ES, I know it isn't a LS.
You do get what you pay for.
Just looking like a LS does not a LS make.

Go for it. It'll be night and day. For me, long story short, manager at the dealer took the 300h back admitting partial fault of the sales person's lack of knowledge on the suspensions and also on bases of me buying a 2014 350 fully loaded, which i picked up on Monday and I couldn't be happier again.

Just a a side note, i test drove the new Cadillac XTS few days ago thinking maybe i should trade in 300h and the ES350 rides so much smoother than the XTS...

Lucky you to find such nice manager who let exchange your used 300h for new 350 please confirm that you actually feel the difference in ride quality so i can give lexus a call to find out hov much they will rob me fo changing four struts i remember on ls they wanted almost 4k for non air susp strut replacement i have to drive the es350 to confirm and justify that money spent

Like i said, its like night and day, for me... You know that feeling when you constantly hit potholes that makes your teeth jarr and your body crunch? You won't feel any of that in an ES350. I think it will cost your around $2,000 to swap it out.

Did you also confirm that the ES350UL with 18" wheels has the stiffer suspension as well? I have been considering the UL, but I don't want to sacrifice the ride for pretty wheels and a couple of features. Unfortunately, the ULs are never available for a test drive, so there is no way to compare short of buying one.

No, i haven't but i hear you about not being able to test drive certain models/packages. I wanted to test drive f-sport a while back and none of the dealers had it available for test drive...
Anyway, not sure about the suspension but you will definitely feel more road imperfections with 18" wheels that's for sure.

Strange, when I purchased mine in Schaumburg, they had several UL's to drive. Not sure what part of IL your in, but you may want to consider going to a more populous area to drive one.

II think it is coming to the end of the season. I am only finding 1 or 2 at each dealer. The dealers want to move their inventory, I just checked Woodfield and they have 4. I might take a trip and see if they will let me take a spin. Not sure if they can still call it new if they let me drive it, but at least they have some. There are some LEs with 18" wheels too, so that will be the same test.

Thanks...

Keep us posted... I'm really curious about suspensions on 18" wheels... They might have a version of their own that's different from 300 and 350 all together...

Are we sure that the Orange Color is the softer suspension? By the description it would seem it is the stiffer suspension. The word Sport leads me to feel this is the case.

That's the thing, im not sure... I know the others are correct but these two that are specifically for "225/45R18", im not sure if these are soft or stiff. I probably shouldn't have used orange for those two in the previous post...

Yes, it's considered new until they title it. They offered me any car on the lot to drive.

Good luck!

Any more news or insight on this? Specifically curious about the difference between the "SPORT PACK&TIRE" suspension that comes with the 18" rims in the UL and how different that is from the non-UL versions

I haven't had time to get to the dealer. Still on my list for the next couple of weeks.
