Default USB and 255 songs

No matter what USB drive I use I can't get it to show more than 255 songs. I have 937 songs on the drive but 2/3 of them don't show. Anyone else have this issue or does anyone know how to get it to show all the songs?

Software limitation.
Seems the software can only read 8-bits of data.

11111111 = 27 + 26 + 25 + 24 + 23 + 22 + 21 + 20 = 128 + 64 + 32 + 16 + 8 + 4 + 2 + 1 = 2n+1 - 1 = 255

So 80s. lol

That may be a limitation for each folder on the drive so do not put them all in the root of the drive. I have thousands of songs on my USB drive but they are all in folders by artist. Try creating a couple of folders and put no more than 254 songs in each folder.
