Please let us know if it works as advertised. Also is the remote wired? Looking at the pictures on their site it appears so. Is the remote really needed or is it optional?

It really work as stated. Their website does not do such a well design product like this justice.

No blurred lines. This kit really works as stated. No buttons to hide. It uses the steering wheel controls to activate.

I agree and that's why I use forums.
On that note here are the tools needed: what's in the pic, a short Philips head screwdriveer, eight or 6 mm socket and ratchet to pull the radio out.

Red face Question...

Here's a dumb question... Do you have to have a "Mark Levinson" to use this? I have Navigation and (1) CD... Maybe I just answered my own question... Kindly advise...

I have the same system as you. You simply need to have navigation.

Interesting install. Any new squeaks or rattles from taking apart your dash?

Hey, thanks for posting this as it may prove handy in the future. I installed a simular device in my Murano which allowed using the NAV display for an installed rear view camera and also for the Caller ID info from an installed Bluetooth voice dial mobile system. Also, how many times have we all had to pull over to enter a destination into the NAV.

Rattles were one of my concerns, but there are none at all. There is felt on many of the snap-in parts.

I'm taking mine to the local car stereo shop to have it installed. 55.00 an hour and he said as long as it's plug and play, which it is, than an hour should do the trick. I just don't want to deal with it and paying 55.00 is worth it to me. Getting it installed today.
