That's some expensive parts to fit a full spare. That doesn't even include the full size wheel/tire.

I have the UL trim. Maybe that's why I have the full-size spare?

The 300h also has a smaller trunk due to the hybrid batteries.

I was thinking the same thing. By the time you add wheel and tire, you would be spending well over $1000 to be able to have a full-size spare )and to lose a good amount of trunk space). If a full-size spare were a factory option with an added cost of, say, a couple of hundred dollars, I could see people choosing to have the full-size spare and losing the trunk room, but, at over $1000 to do the conversion, it is hard to imagine that there would be many takers.

I don't believe that it is an option or the part of any package in the continental US with either the ES350 or the ES300h.

I do too. I have every option available..
Like others have said don't think any ES in the US will have it.

Wow, it would be weird to see a lux car running on a donut. I'm surprised none of you in the US have a full-size spare. I was happy (and not surprised) when I saw a full-size spare in the trunk, as one would assume & expect that a luxury car would come with a full-size spare.

Yes! I was actually shocked when I saw I only had a donut spare..
My 2007 ES and a full spare but I guess it's all about gas mileage in the US these days so the lighter the better.

Could this have been a dealer installed option?
