It is possible to watch movie during driving?
Hello! Anyone managed to watch movies on 2013 ES during driving? On my car it stops automatically once i remove break pedal. Please let me know!

I hope you're not wanting this so that you, the driver, can watch movies while in motion. I believe there are adapters available that would allow this, but keep in mind, it would be considered illegal in IL.

My first thought when reading that someone wants to do something like this is that I hope I don't ever end up on the same road with that person. Even if the intended purpose is to allow passengers to watch video, it is just too likely that, somewhere along the line, something on the screen is going to attract the attention of the driver and distract him/her from what he/she should be paying attention to on the road.
Besides the fact that disabling the video lockout while driving is going to be illegal in most jurisdictions, I'm also confident that, if the insurance companies and the authorities discovered that video might have been playing while someone was involved in a traffic accident, the financial consequences to the driver related to liability would likely be quite steep.

I have mixed feelings about this "safety" feature with the disabling of the dvd player. While I agree that the driver should not be tuned in the movie while driving, I find this feature useless due to this parking brake restriction. When I bought the car, I was delighted about the dvd player feature and that it would keep my children occupied while in a commute. But when I found out that this only works when the vehicle is stopped and the parking brake engaged, I found it useless. I rarely sit inside the car while it's parked, let alone watch a dvd in it.

I like their disclaimer at the bottom of the page:

They are, mostly, to prevent foolish people from killing themselves and others.
No one can stop you from killing yourself, if you really want to.
But, you really should refrain from doing things that are very likely to kill other people. That would be considered very rude, even if you do not succeed.
