Lexus Enform App Suite - April 2014 Updates
I received an email from Lexus today about changes to Enform. Looks like they are splitting out features to other apps. I would prefer to have "one ring to rule them all."
Transition of Select Features
Going forward, the Lexus Enform App Suite (handset version) will only contain features that match those available within Lexus Enform App Suite in your vehicle (Table 1). Roadside Assistance, Vehicle Information, Dealers Nearby and Lexus Mobile[2] will be removed from the Enform App Suite mobile app, but will be available within the Lexus Roadside Assistance app (Table 2) or via lexusdrivers.com (Table 3).
(1) Lexus Enform App Suite:
Pandora®
Facebook Places
Yelp®
iHeartRadio
MovieTickets.com
OpenTable®
BingTM
Saved Destinations
Enform Tutorials
Fuel Guide (select MY14 only)
Sports (select MY14 only)
Stocks (select MY14 only)
(2) Lexus Roadside Assistance
Roadside Assistance
Dealers Nearby
(3) lexusdrivers.com website
Vehicle Information (How-to Videos)
eDestination

I've not owned a vehicle with a system like this before. I do not find it to be of great use. Some of the other members that post on here have owned , or still own, Audi's, BMW's, Infinity's, etc.
Are their information technology systems better and of more use than Enform?

In the car I use the Pandora App everyday, Open Table occasionally, and I often use bing to locate something and have the info entered into Nav when I am in the car. Otherwise, I use the eDestination in the phone app (soon to be Saved Destinations) every time I have the time to look up something before I start a trip to look up places I want to get to and then have them saved in folders and transferred to the car ready to select when I want them. Not taking the time to learn how or when to use something does not make it useless in and of itself.

The update has been released - I tried out the new Saved Destinations and it's definitely better than trying to sync eDestinations. I haven't noticed anything else different, though.
