Just press the display/info button on the steering wheel and the trip odometer is one of the information items that it will cycle through and that will appear in the information display in the middle of the instrument panel.

Isn't it on the panel behind the left side of the steering wheel? It is Trip A and Trip B and the Odometer.

This is good information to look up in the owners manual. When thumbing through it, you also come across other features and how to use them. Even find some hidden gems now and then.

You are right. I was thinking of the mpg after refueling information, and I was confused because, when refueling, I always check the after refueling information and re-set the trip odometer at the same time.

Panel behind the left side of the steering wheel? like where the fog light button and fuel door release is at? The car is my wifes so don't get to spend too much time behind the wheel

Let say if I never reset trip B in order to know average gas mileage for a car life. Where can I read that mpg for a trip B?

Higher up and a little to the right. It is to the left of the steering column; not on the left stalk.

reposted from "setting trip odometer"...

Quick review of the mileage tools we have, trip A & B are distance only, hard keys on the lower left side.
Right steering wheel spoke toggle, "After Refueling" resets itself when...you refuel. (Doesn't have to be a fill-up)

"Average MPG" has the most flexibility. If left unreset it will accumulate data for 10k miles. Everytime you do reset it check out the Nav screen display Menu/Fuel Economy/Past Record (History on Non-Nav). Note that the date at bottom of the graph now has todays date. Want to reset every Monday morning and compare cold weeks to warm? Want to reset before a different driving routine? Outbound and inbound legs of a commute?

Notice also that while the DIC (by the speedo) has elapsed time and average speed that remain until reset, the
Trip Information (both Nav & non) starts out fresh each trip. Range matches the DIC display of course.
