I just bought a new 2014 Lexus ES350 UL package with everything. I love the car. My girlfriend just got a new loaded 2014 Lexus IS. I noticed her headlights were much whiter than mine. I went out and got new bulbs D4S 8000k and they went in perfect. Now my only issue is that the headlights are a different shade (more blue) than the LED fog lights. I was wondering if anyone knew what illumanation number the headlights were in the 2014 IS? OR if they new the brightness of the ES fog lights? Thinking about trying 6000k....any thoughts

OEM bulbs are almost always 4700K. The lower the Kelvin the more visible light. I went with 6K bulbs and they match perfectly with my LED Fog light bulbs. I know what you mean on the new IS. Those light don't look like they are 4700K. They may be LED headlight I think. Is it a F Sport IS?

Do you have the 14 ES when you say they are matching the LED fog lights? I just want to make sure cause if they are I will just order the 6k. Her car is not an F sport but it is fully loaded so maybe it was an added option.

The IS has LED headlights probably. OEM HIDs are 4100k.

Your 8000k HIDs actually have far less light output than your original 4100k HIDs. The higher the color temp the lower the light output. I would swap them for 5000k.
