My door isn't locking/unlocking consistently with either the remote or via the door handle. Looks like the actuator has gone. I'm being quoted $750 for parts and labor to replace (and it's not in stock). Looking at this forum for other examples, that seems very high, right? What other options might exist, beyond my normal Lexus dealer. No idea how easy a fix this is.

My drivers side lock started acting up this weekend, did you ever find a fix for yours?

My plan is to start by just lubricating the mechanism, then checking the charge on the 12V battery.
Will let you know if that helps.

Just closing the loop on this.
It was not a battery issue, it was a bad actuator and I had it replaced by the dealer.
