Oh yeah 25 hilly miles each way of biking on San Diego's non bike friendly streets on a 40 pound 7 speed cruiser so I can cruise 10 miles up the nice flat boardwalk and then ride 25 miles back home. Apparently you missed the concept of a beach cruiser - it looks beautiful when you ride it - and it rides like a dream on flat surfaces - and you look great when you ride it from bar to bar. What you are describing is something that sounds suspiciously like a workout where people sweat.... if I wanted a workout I'd run the three miles to the gym in the morning....

I actually have a separate riding bike that can handle hills that doesn't go to the beach But it doesn't look nearly as good.

Well, we do want you to look good, so stay with the cruiser.

Hey I'm consistent! Keeping the car beautiful trumps all. If it means wrapping the kids in saran wrap and keeping an extra vehicle to haul bikes to the beach then so be it.
