I have one more Fortin Remote Start configured by Fortin to work with '13-14 Lexus ES300h. Purchased it for a firend but he sold his car already. So, if someone is interested, you can contact me. It is exactly like one installed on my car and works perfectly!

Hello! I installed it on my Toyota Dealer. It's working for 1 year very well. Exactly the same specs like OEM one but only costs 30% less. I have one more available if someone is interested, exactly like the one installed on my car. I only bought two by mistake one year ago. Thanks!

Will this work with my 2014 Lexus es 350? I have a lease. Will I be in trouble if I get this installed in my car?

I finally found the best fit remote start for my 2013 ES350. The Lexus RES that uses a smartphone cannot be installed in the 2013's according to Lexus, only 2014 and forward. So I found a large volume after market dealer that installs Audiovox remote starter systems. The system works exactly like the Lexus factory RS and uses the factory remote. No additional remote necessary. Range is 1000 - 1500'. Three taps on the lock button, the car starts, lights flash to confirm, and you're ready to go. Lexus wanted $700.00 for the system and installation. My cost: $350.00.

Just to be clear the RES+ system (smartphone capable) does work on the 2013. I installed one on my 2013 ES and it works perfectly. I am assuming that when you say Lexus you mean the dealer? Sometimes it's up to their customers to school them on just what can be done as they are not always aware of the capabilities of their cars.
In my case I had to work with a service manager and a tech to show them the instructions for the install (Lexus provided) and convince them that this could be done. I installed all the parts and all they did was to register the system on the CAN BUS to get it working at no cost to me.
In my case I did not want an aftermarket system as I did not want anyone going under the dash cutting and splicing wiring hence, I paid the hefty cost for the hardware and of course the yearly fee.
Having said all that, if there is a good alternative and you have a high degree of confidence in your installer go for the lower priced solution.
Just for reference my ES was built in August of 2013.

The dealer parts department stated that it wouldn't fit a 2013. I was aware of your previous posts stating that you had the RES system so I went there and tried to buy it. I'm actually tired of dealing with parts and service people that aren't totally educated as to what fits in whatever year and why not. I'm going with the aftermarket. I don't need unlimited distance and decided against a yearly fee. The Audiovox works exactly like the factory Lexus RS sans smartphone.
My Lexus was built in August of 2012.

I know there are distance issues with the factory RS from the many complaints posted here, including the RES system that is currently experiencing problems according to other members. Although I don't plan to walk 1500' away and do a test, I'll report back as to my findings. What puzzles me is if an aftermarket manufacturer can get it right why can't Toyota?

It's a trade off from what I understand. Aftermarket remotes come with larger antennas, which allow it to communicate with the car from greater distances. Larger antennas mean higher energy consumption though. Couple that with the keyless entry radio in the Lexus smart key and you'd likely be changing batteries every few months or so. Viper remotes I've had experience with need their batteries replaced almost every six months. A LITTLE more distance would still be nice though.
