Default Low audio level on CD's with ML system

Has anyone experienced audio levels significantly lower while playing CDs versus the radio?
The audio system sounds great except for that. I have to set the volume to 59 to get reasonable levels vs. 38 or 39 on the radio.

Yes, I have the same issue. And the problem got worse with the new amp. I have a LS and the audio system has the same issue.

I found it helped if I increased the treble and midrage.

After reading your post I tried it on my 2013 with the new ML Amp. I switched between the FM radio, a CD and a USB mp3 drive. On my system they were all at about the same volume level. In fact the radio seemed just slightly lower in volume than the other sources. Is you CD a store bought CD or home burnt? If a it is not a store bought it may be the software that created it causing the lower volume. Just a thought.

atoyota brings up a good point, the tone settings can be set descretely for each source.
See if you have not jacked up the levels for the tuner, they would not have affected the CD.

Not only the tone settings, but I think the volume setting is set for each source.
