There is a pricing thread on this site. It gave me enough info to settle for about 88% of MSRP. That seems to be about the cheapest I could get. I'm in Nor cal also and spent about a month calling a lot of dealers to see who would give me the best price if I was willing to drive. I finally settled on the local dealer for about $5400 off MSRP.
Call around and ask for the Internet Dept. Those guys know what they can sell for. 9 out of 10 will give you a good deal and the 10th will give you a great deal. Just my experience.

What model did you get? ES300h or ES350 and what options?

11-27-13 bought a 2013 Lexus ES300h in San Diego for $7200 off MSRP. I got it for $38,000. It was a 2013 with zero miles and is perfect. Like the NuLux better. This deal can still be had you just need to hold out for it. Good Luck!!
