What do you really dislike about your 2013 (or 2014) ES

I too love the BSM and Cross Traffic, those are great features, I always tell people you really don’t know how great they are until you start using them and relying on them. It is so cool to know at a glance if something is in your blind spot and I have been saved at least once by the Cross traffic in a fast food parking lot. I most definitely would not want to live without them now that I have gotten a taste.

Dislikes on the 2013 ES-350
I traded a 2006 ES-330 for the 2013. I agree with all the discussion on the eye-glass holder being removed - it was handy. There were several other items that were once standard that are now optional or not provided - such as the Memory System for the passenger seat. I have been disappointed in the Voice Command menu. I have a Garmin GPS I use for rental cars that has a far better menu of voice commands than the Lexus. Finally, the Apps that work through your smart phone just haven't seemed all the convenient to use. In the end, however, I really like the car - comfortable, quiet, safe and good on the Freeways.

I have a suspicion the sunglass holder was removed for a few reasons. And the SOS button was put in it's place.
1. People were accidentally hitting the SOS button when trying to hit another button and tying up an operator's time that could be spent helping an actual emergency.
2. Seperating the SOS button helps people find it easier/quicker in an actual emergency.
3. Most sunglasses these days are too large to fit in there anyways.
Just my 2 cents. That is all.

One thing that would have been nice is a toggle where you could switch to either the driver or passenger seat memory from the driver’s side similar to the way that the mirror toggle works.

Its a UL package item. My 2010 didn't have the memory passenger seat, wasn't a UL.

You guys that are grousing about the loss of the sunglasses holder - what kind of glasses do you have, because I've never owned a pair that fit in the holder in my 2007 ES 350. Now, my readers will fit nicely...

I've owned several pairs of Ray Bans and Maui Jims, never had a problem with them fitting in the sunglass holder.

Again, the feature was there on the previous car, same model, I don’t think it is un-reasonable to expect it on a newer version of the same vehicle.

I don't think my new glasses would fit:
