Default ES Sales For August

Here are ES sales for August and Year-To-Date thru Aug.

7,628 +1% August 2013
47,210 +60% YTD thru August

Avalon just FYI:
6,241 +254% August 2013
49,281 +146% YTD thru August

97,000 sales between the two!

A member over on Car Chat said 20% of ES sales are hybrids and 18% for Avalon. I can't vouch for the accuracy though.

Not too bad for a higher price point entry luxury car vs a lower priced mainstream car sales numbers.

Yep, both the ES and RX continue to be the bread winners for Lexus. Go ES!

2 months in a row the ES sold better than the Avalon. Kind of surprised.

I'm not sure. Good question though. It seems to me that the first or second year for the previous gen (only 1 model then) may have sold in this same volume.

Update. In 2006 the 1st partial year for the 2007 model 75,987 ES350's sold. In 2008 82,867 ES350's.
