Default 300h owners - does it have a spare tire?

Hello,

I've noticed some hybrid cars don't have spare tires? I don't think the IS300h will have a spare tire. Does anyone here have a 300h - if so does it have a spare tire?

Yes, but not a full size spare.

Much better than having a run flat tire, which may cost you an arm and a half a leg, not to mention if its even available wherever you may need it.

On a lot of cars that I've owned with a donut you could actually fit a full spare in the well. Have you tried fitting a full spare there?

Yep, both my RX and GS have full spares, and they're not the easiest to change out. The weight alone is pretty hefty, let alone dealing with the bulk. Aside from that, you can ride on the full spare for quite a while.

Hmm...I got a full spare tire with TPMS. I have the UL, if that matters.

I see you have an ES300h, what country are you in?

Guam...basically a US region. That being said, I have some things in the car configured very differently from you folks in the mainland. A very obvious one is that my car has the espresso woodtrim instead of your standard bamboo wood trim.

I have had several sets of run flat tires and they work great! Never have had a problem replacing them either.
