What's these under the hood?
I am very interested in getting a 2018 ES350 from an on-line seller. Every thing looks very good until I find this pic about the engine bay. I found 2 unusual 2 punched holes on the plastic cover there as highlighted in yellow and a few white spot scattering around in the engine bay as highlighted in blue.
Would it be a concern to getting this car? What reason can cause these 2 holes and those white spots?
Many thanks for your help.

Cracks and dirt.

The spots are too far and it's hard to see what you are asking about. Some marks, possibly from mechanically smashing the plastic, or it may be dirt. Zoom in and we can try to better identify the cause.

Still far. Close shot at 2 inches would be best. From the distance, it looks like a rough, puncture hole. Anything on the hood that could explain the damage?
Maybe mechanics left something sharp there in the past, and when the hood was closed, the damage was done.
Functionally, you have no issues with these cosmetic imperfections. Hopefully it's not a sign of a prior collision where plastic part was damaged and repaired.
When you look closer at those specs, do they look like they were done by hot object that melted the plastic? Hard objected that penetrated through? Paint of some sort?

Thanks for your reply and explain. I am not the owner yet and I don't have any more pics from the dealer.
As what you said, I don't mind the cosmetic imperfections. But the reason to cause this is alarming.
Another car I found below, has similar puncture holes at the same spot, I was just wondering if it is a common problem by the 16-18 ES350 generation.

Those puncture holes , with zigzap uneven edge , I am worried about it is a chewing mark by mice.
