Members w/ 20" rims, got a few questions: how is the comfort level? Would you say you could have gone a bigger tire? If you had it do it again would you still pick 20"?

Khandfw... Not exactly a direct answer to your question, but I thought I might share my eperience.

I opted to go with chrome, custom 18" rims with ride comfort as the primary reason. But, there is a lot of wheel well left vacant. If I were to do it gain, I would seriously consider going to 20". I currently have 225/45 tires, but I will probably change that to 225/50 when I replace the tires (just to add a little bit more in those wheel wells).

Overall, when you are close up, 18s look good, but when you back up 40' or so, the wheels can look a bit small for the size of the well.

Ride feel is as expected with the 18s. Hope the info helps.

Default Members' advice?

All:

Have a 2008 GS460 -- love it.

Am thinking about lowering by 1" or more, probably more in front than back. Also thinking ahead to next year (summer 2014) so need your advice now (fall 2013). Need to know if you think these

Model - Huntington Bolsa - Hun Bolsa

Size - Front 22 x 9.0 / Rear 22 x 10.5

Bolt Pattern - 5 x 120

Offset - Front +32mm / Rear +42mm

Hub-bore to fit - 74.1mm

will be nothing but trouble when wrapped in high performance Michelins.

Note: will also get good tint all-'round, but that's not a tire thing (duh).

5x120? You are probably going to need to redrill.

Hey gekae24: "Bolt Pattern - 5 x 120" is what appears in the advertisement that claims what is offered is suitable for the GS460. If what is advertised is absolutely NOT suitable, what bolt pattern should it be? I must admit to very much liking the appearance of the Huntington Bolsa, and think it would suit my GS460. Your advice? RSVP / Cheers / LexLeezard

Even though this section is for the ES. According to tirerack.com the 08 GS460 bolt pattern is 5x114.
