I have a 2013 ES, using a Verizon iPhone 5S, ver. 8.0.2, through Bluetooth. Could use a little counsel, as I can't find the information through Lexus, Forums, or Google.
(1). I used the "track forward" to sample tracks, so as to evaluate "Artists" before I added as a "Station", not knowing that there was a skip limit. So, after I entered around 30 stations, I got the "Track Skip Limit reached". I wasn't aware of that & don't see the need for it, but, short of signing for an upgrade paid subscription, am I forever unable to bypass that (or any) song without leaving the "station" entirely? I prefer "Shuffle", so it is a pain to do (or listen to).
(2) I'd like the track skip feature, because I find that a few of the installed stations insert different artists/styles that do not fit the desired genre and are very tedious to listen to. Is there any way to reset/bypass, or eliminate said tracks? Within the "Shuffle" selection, there doesn't even seem to be a way to tell where that track came from, so as to try to deal with it. The heading just says: "Now Playing: Shuffle".
(3) With this app, what do the track "Thumbs Up" & "Thumbs Down" do? Is it just a "vote" that is transmitted, of does it have a useful function for not playing that track in the future (which I doubt)? I haven't detected any result from the "thumbs down".
