Its not much, but it does cool the seat.
If you set the A/C to blow air from the upper and lower air vents (or just the lower air vents), the ventilated seats will draw in the refrigerated air. It's not dramatic. So don't expect super cold seats. But it does make the seats cooler than if you didn't do this.

I always felt that the ES ventilated seats were all about expectations.

If your expectations aren't too high they are OK.

I had them on two ES and on a hot day would rather have them than not.

I have been told cooled AC seats run the risk of mold because of the humidity in the AC system.

Interesting.
Don't ventilated seats just have a fan to cool and no connection with the A/C?

Yes, just a fan. As otHers have said, it pulls the cool air in from the cabin to help cool, but not from tHe AC. So ventilated seats, not cooled.

Got my vehicle back last night, my dealership needs to order a part can't remember what it was now. The vent is not working on the bottom of the seat. The part will take about 1 week to arrive at the dealership.

Same here. I could feel it with the back of my hand, but not much. Also, not to be confused with chilled air vs. ventilated, so you won't get any cooled air from them.

My dealer told me the ventiltd seats only work on the back. Is that true? Should it be working on the bottom as well?

Time for you to change dealership, the ventilation on the back is stronger than the bottom but it definitely has air in the bottom but not to powerful, that is why they are waiting for a part for my vehicle. We checked out at the dealership another 2013 es and it did circulate air in the bottom.

Interesting to see that the issue may be fixable. I am taking my wife's 300h for the 5k service on Monday and going to have the dealer check out the seats. In my MDX I turn the ventilated seats on and feel air within 10-15 seconds. With the 300h I feel nothing.

I'm still not clear on this. Should I feel cool air movement from the seat and seat back? If I put my ear close to the seat I hear a fan motor. Same with the seat back. However, I DO NOT feel any air - cool or otherwise - emanating from either surface. ???

Yes, you should feel air / ventilated from the back and bottom if you have the option and as someone else said it is not cold air from the a/c

I will be just slight air movement not really blowing to any degree. Slight is the key word. Someone once suggested setting a tissue on the seat and you might see some movement. I'm not sure if that really works or not.

If does work, that is what the dealership did with another ES on the lot.

When driving with it on, I can defnitely feel cool air on the seat between my legs. As one person I work with put it: "it feels like you wet yourself the first time you use it"
