We are going with the accord mainly because it is built in the USA, and we checked with our suppliers that deal with Honda they say nothing but good things. As for GM it will be the Cadillac and we have dealt with GM before and had issue and always got great service.

It is not only the Mark Levinson system the customer service is the worse I have ever encountered and companies like this do not deserve my money or the company I work for. Not to say that it cannot happen with Any other company but at this time it is Toyota corporation.

Doesn't appear as if your experience is typical. Link

I guess it's better than going with Land Rover and Dodge. They may not have the ML issue, though.

I'd love to see the manner in which you articulated to Lexus and the dealer your dissatisfaction. Ive found the way you express yourself has a lot to do with the results you get.

I've been a Lexus owner for 15 years and have never had anything but great service.

I am glad you have had good service, it is not only because of my experience with the ML system as a corporation we have had issues with Toyota. Yes as a corporation we have done our research and that is why we know this is the right move in quality, reliability and costs. Dollar for dollar and value the Honda Accord is a better value. 17 of of our sister companies have been dealing with Honda for 14 years they have never had bad service from Honda, so yes we have done our homework thank you. Just an FYI our 17 sister companies goes through about 1,900 accords every 2 years and each vehicle would have about 140,000 miles on them and it is straight regular maintence, so yes we are making a great move? Sometime I feel people here work for Lexus, when someone has an issue some people get their backs up.

It's also possible to have someone on a forum like this who works for Honda (or any other car company). I take everything with a grain of salt

Right...we all work for Lexus. Its a massive conspiracy, the whole site is here just to brainwash people into purchasing Toyota/Lexus vehicles.

I see plenty of people who post issues and people are helpful and friendly. Its a Lexus enthusiast site, there is always going to be a pro-Lexus slant. The difference though is when a member is here clearly only to complain and continually drags his displeasure into every discussion the forum has. You have been here a month and posted 55 times...EVERY post is you complaining about your car. We get it...you hate it...sell it and move on.

Hence, the OP is talking about buying a 300h and had questions about GPS and packages, and yet somehow now we are talking about your dozens of companies no longer buying Toyota vehicles...food for thought. A discussion about his question turns into a rant about YOUR issues. THAT is the problem.

You are right... If Lexus is so good, is that why you bought an Audi.....people need to know the negative as well.

I don't have an Audi...I have a 2013 Lexus GS350. Its right in my signature.

And the negative is here, but this is a Lexus enthusiast site, this is not a platform for your own personal crusade. You've said your piece, now move on and let everybody else enjoy the site in peace. You posting your complaints off topic dragging threads off track is tiresome, and its a violation of the site's TOS.

The topic of this thread is whether or not the OP should get nav, and whether or not they should get the luxury package. You not liking your ML audio and your companies buying Honda Accords is completely off topic.

Default trigger pulled...

...I went with the non Nav, Nuluxe in Obsidian/Black. I am excited and ordered some 18" wheels today with Michelin's. I will use the factory wheel/tire for winter here in Minnesnowta (we got 8 inches of snow yesterday...April 18).

The car is set to be delivered this next week from Chicago as I did not want to wait until early May for my car.

I am super excited! Thanks for your help all!

Congrats. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new ride. Keep an eye on this board on some good advice or answers to your question. There's plenty here willing to help or add their 2 cents.

Congrats! You may want to use a different tire than stock for winter driving, though.

Congrats!

Have you driven the car on the 18s? You may not be happy with the ride over the 17s, a lot of people aren't. If you don't like the ride on the 18s, the upgrade 17s are nice.
