What (realistic) change would you like on the 2014 model?

I'm curious if there was a feature you might want that isn't on the current model that realistically you think they might add to the 2014 model.

An update to voice recognition software, it could really be so much more useful...

A wood trimmed center console and interior color schemes that are already available on the 2013 Saudi Arabian ES350's .

Better yet: A fully padded door panel and center console instead of hard plastic. It seems crazy that a 2013 ES350 offers $10,000-20,000 worth of available "luxury" options, but no option for luxurious looking and feeling soft touch interior surfaces like the very first ES offered STANDARD way back in 1990.

Better yet: An available deluxe sound insulation package to make the ES quieter inside than it is now (it's only as quiet as a Chevy Impala now).

Maybe you need to roll up your windows. Have you actually driven in an Impala?

I would like to see them change the fog light bulbs to match the Xenon headlight color.

Heated and A/C rear seats. Also improve the Air conditioned seat system. It is useless in my ES.

The seats are ventilated, not air conditioned or cooled. They just recirculate the air that is in the cabin. That's why the aren't really cold or chilled in any way.

The voice recognition I agree really needs to improve, a F Sports package would be cool, a better Mark Levinson system without distortion with music with a lot of base, compass on the rearview mirror absolutely the sun glass holder, have to use one of the cup holders now.....LOL

The ventilated seats don't work well. I hear the fan but feel nothing. We test drove other cars where the seats were actually too cold on. 100* day. Not the case in the ES. I sure love the head seats though.

Allow an option on the analog clock. I was thinking make the clock flip around where one side is digital and one side is analog. When showing off for friends, you could use the fancy analog side. When daily driving to work or running errands, you could use the digital one. I miss the digital for ease of use to just glance at and know the time. All the critics kept pressuring Lexus to change the digital clock because it was "so 1980's". Aren't we in the digital world today? I get that the analog looks fancier. Just give us a digital one somewhere. Maybe in the center console or nav screen with the option of hiding for those people that think it's too "1980's". Enough rant on that.....

I'd like for the stereo control button for going to the next channel preset to go from preset 6 back to preset 1 instead of going to the next group of channels.

Voice recognition needs a lot of improvement too.

As previously noted, improved scope of voice recognition and an upgraded center console. Less hard plastic, preferrably whatever wood trim is used on the dash/doors/steering wheel.

Just thought of something else. Put a REAL remote start option in the options list. The 2013 factory installed unit is pretty much useless. Not at all worth the $500 price tag. I had a Viper Smart Start installed in my old car that had a range of 1000+ feet with the key fob, and unlimited with the app for my phone. I'm really going to miss that next winter! Oh, and the cost of the Viper was less than $400 installed.

Keeping it realistic I would be happy with just the compass in the mirror even with nav and changing the fog light bulbs. The clock change would be nice but may not be something that Lexus ever intends to do.

Thats easy.... A full leather steering wheel option, and make it look just like the GS.
