I want to thank everyone for their replies!!!! Interesting that Lexus charges the same amount for the 350 and 300h for the heated steering wheel package, but only the 350 gets the wood trim on the shift **** with that option. I'm glad I didn't say anything to the dealer about this... I knew asking the forum was the best thing to do!

It is very curious as to why Lexus has made this move...

Oh well... I still love my car!

I still think it's a production problem with the bamboo wood shift ****.

Here's exactly what the sticker says:
"Leather Trimmed Shift **** and Heated Wood & Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel".

So... the sticker is completely accurate.

Such a long thread for a subject that Lexus has spelled out quite clearly. For whatever reason, the bamboo wood insert is not available on the 300h shift ****. It's spelled out plainly on the Monroney and in the Lexus brochure. I have attached the portion of the brochure that describes this option. So let's put this to bed. The OP got exactly what Lexus said he should have. If his expectations were higher, he should have done a little more investigation.

I misunderstood, I thought you were saying that you also did not have a wood & leather trimmed steering wheel...

My original post stated that I got exactly what the sticker said... What I was confused about was why the car came that way. I understand now, and that was really the intention of the post.

Thanks!

Actually, the website is not so clear... take a look at this:

I don't have the heated steering wheel, but my window sticker states, and note the difference from about with the '&' vs the 'and': "Leather Trimmed Shift **** & Wood & Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel". The placement of a comma after **** would have cleared any confusion.
