Here we go I hate Lexus for doing that, offering the auto close mirror feature to Euro but not US.

Actually the HID's on the ES are auto leveling. The option you see on the left side driver's dash is the AHB (Automatic High Beams). That is an option on US Spec ES.

I really like the rear passenger luxury features. I too wish they would have offered it on the US '13 model. But I expect it will be offered on US '14 or '15 models.

Also the Asian hybrid models come with the dark woodgrain not the bamboo.

No fair. I know of a few other cars that have more features in other countries so it's not just Lexus.

that's because in those markets people only care about toys in the car and not engine size. It's probably priced the same as our bigger engine/hybrid versions.

I like the lights under the front seats and I wonder if you can buy the rear control unit and install it assuming the electronics are still pre-wired and not hooked up.

well it's turning out to be the same here too, no?

The whole goal behind smaller engine size is saving gas. and people are doing the here as well. Hybrids etc.

ES350 has those lights under the seats here as well.

I'm not so sure that they are anymore, the members here with 2013 ES's don't think they have auto-lveling...

I agree with Steve SW10ES. No auto leveling of the HIDs in the new ES's, not listed on the brochure nor window sticker. Not available in the US, like some of the good stuff found abroad.
