Damn, that's nice. The powers to be here in Calif. changed all that a few years ago. Only Plug-in's or all electric get the HOV stickers. Hybrids don't count anymore. I guess too many hybrids in the state.

The best thing ever that was not on my 2008 es is the ability to split the Nav screen display to show both the map and the radio information on the display all at once.

Most items listed are what I would expect on a car like this, so the two things I like best about the ES are unexpected items: regular gas and the added legroom in the back seat.

You can take this one off your list There are indeed foot vents for rear passengers... (pg 351-352 in the Owner's manual)

^I was looking around down there over weekend. its not over the feet under the dash?
-does anyone know where I can find exploded diagrams of the interior, and body?
I may want to pull a front seat.

Vents to the rear from the seats make sense since there's the ventilated front seats. But going slightly off topic, does anybody find the vented seats ineffective? I hear lots of blowing, but don't feel much air.

Where it does and will make a significant difference is on long summer trips... One less driving experience you don't have to deal with is sticking to leather / vinyl seats .

Now that's disappointing. I thought the seats actually cooled down, not just ventilated. Even so, the ventilation doesn't seem strong even at its highest level. I'm not taking about just the seat of the pants; I put my hand over the seat and don't feel much.
