Rear glass defroster
Hello All,
So I have a question. Lately I have noticed that my rear glass seems to have trouble clearing the center of the glass, but the sides are fine.
For example... it snowed last night, after wiping down my car, and turning on the rear defogger, I noticed that after 3-4 mins the sides were clear, but the center still wasn't clear. Even after 6-7 mins it still won't clear.
Is this normal?

Mine seems to be clearing evenly across the entire window.
Its electric resistance heating, so I think it should not have "low" spots unless something is wrong.
What temperature are you trying to defrost in? Perhaps its due to extreme cold hitting the center of the window more (i.e. the edges are warmer to begin with)?

The top of my rear window doesn’t clear at all. This includes the top 6 horizontal strips. From the top, strips 1,2,4,5 and 6 don’t connect with the vertical strip.
