i tried going to lexus.com and build my own (by putting in my zip code) es300h, and it doesn't let me add a ultra-luxury package.

maybe they are not making any that are ultra-luxury at this time without a special order.....

how i want the ambient lighting!

I wonder if this means that any ultra luxury config will take a long time to get if it isn't a "common config " now.

The UL package is available in the north west part of the USA, try putting in the zip code for Seattle Washington. I live in GA and had to special order it. I wanted all of the tech options since my HS had the tech package. I placed my order in late September and the dealer just got the notice that it has been allocated to them. So, I will have to wait another month or so before I get it. I am sure it will be worth the wait.

It's available here in Orange County. When I bought mine last week, I saw several of those on their lot. It's nice though but not worth spending a couple of thousand dollar more for Mark Levinson, panoramic sunroof and side window sun shade.

Try looking at the Lexus Longo inventory on their website.

I'm getting the es300h so no panoramic roof. I just want the ambient lighting.

I'm located in Chicago so I tried Chicago zip codes and 90210 (only Cali zip code I know, haha) and none had Ultra luxury as common configs

What dealership are you working with? I'm in the Chicago area too and have purchased cars from Lexus of Naperville and Orland Park with good experiences at both.

I saw that! I don't like that color , but my salesperson will check incoming inventory on Monday. I just don't like the fact they did something like "bait and switch" and expect me to pay extra.

Maybe I should ask for my deposit back. I paid via credit card. But they are the closest dealership so I want to be able to go back there for maintenance.

I just had a customer order a fully loaded ES350 today here at Lexus of Omaha. It had Pre-Collision, Ultra luxury Pkg, and booked out at $49,6xx. They had to special order the car, and said it would be around 3 months possibly .

Was there anything coming off the line that was close to what the custom order? Was it the color?

My sales rep in ATL informed me that the Ultra Luxury model has adaptive HID headlights, but I have not be able to confirm this on the Lexus website. I don't think its available on the ES.

On the Lexus site it seems the GS has AFS as a option included only in a $8800 pkg.
AFS isn't listed and not in the ES300h $8700 option pkg.

An additional 8k option package just to get AFS??, I don't know why they are making this such an expensive option when on my 09 ES I got it on the premium plus package.....
