It's suprising that this GS is still available. I haven't looked to see how GS sales are holding up, especially with the launch of the new ES, but someone could get a good deal on a virtually new GS.

I would be too tempted to drive fast if I had a GS.

WIll resale of a hybrid have less value? Am i really saving with a hybrid? do you feel that the driving expereicne is different between hybrid and regular.

I love the peace and quiet of the engine being off at a stop light or just inching around the neighborhood. It's a nice sense of serenity. The sound while braking is a sci-fi whirring sound. I still think it sounds nice

You HAVE to drive one for yourself. There's no substitute for driving one regardless of what we type. And don't have the stereo on. You'll truly appreciate the sound of silence. And also the sound of rain on the windshield on a rainy day.

I went to the lexus site and did the payment calculator and this is what I got

Lease

Here's the breakdown

Lease a 2013 ES HYBRID 300h 2.5L Hybrid 200 hp, 277 lb-ft torque with 15,000 miles/year for 36 months.

Estimated Cap Cost
$39,725
Down Payment
-$0
Net Trade-in Value
-$12,000
Estimated Adjusted Gross Cap Cost
$27,725
Estimated monthly payment
$302
with $1,002 due at lease signing.

Purchase

Here's the breakdown

Buy a 2013 ES HYBRID 300h 2.5L Hybrid 200 hp, 277 lb-ft torque for 60 months.
Estimated Selling Price
$39,725
Down Payment
-$0
Net Trade-in Value
-$12,000
Estimated Adjusted Selling Price
$27,725
APR
1.9%
Estimated monthly payment
$485

Do these figures look right? I kow this just base, if I add option it would go up up a couple thousand dollars but they don't lett increse the price in the calculator.

These numbers look good atleast on paper. If I get lease my Monthly payments will actually be lower than what I am paying for the RAV4 and if I buy then it goes up by $90 or so.

Also, since my driving would be more than 15000 a year, i guess the lease is outof question.
But the purchase numbers look good to me.

Am I missing something?
