Weathertech makes great molded all-weather floor/trunk mats... (check out the one for the previous gen ES) Unfortunately, as with all new models, there will be a few months' wait till they catch up for the 2013 ES...

I had WeatherTech floor mats in my RX300, great product, they last and last.

In the mean time just flip the carpeted mat upside down. The back is rubber and works well with potted plants and tools. The 12v battery placement on the right means it doesn't fit as well as in the 350 but it's adaquate.
