Default How to protect my interiour

Hi, I'm a proud owner of 2013 ES 350 as of today.(my first Lexus).
The dealer offered to add Auto Armor for $900 to protect interior. So, I have 3 questions:
1.is it really worth it and will it really protect it as they said it would?
2.How can I do it myself: I have Nuluxe seats, and parchment interior (beige). Could someone please suggest what I should do to protect the seats from and the carpet from staining, etc. What products to buy and where to get them?
3. Is there something I can apply to protect the paint, or does it have to be done professionally?
Thanks so much in advance!

Run, don't walk away from the $900 interior protection!! It's a rip off and the only thing it will protect is the dealers bottom line. The Nuluxe should be very durable and hold up well with minimal care.

There will be instructions for maintaining the interior and exterior in the car's owners manual. Also, look at he detailing forum here on CL and there are all kinds of tips and recommendations for products to use on the car.

I agree with Lexbob2 - Just say "no" and run from that offer. You don't need anything that they are offering.

And congratulations on the new car and welcome to Club Lexus. You can find tips on taking care of your new car right here.
