Lexus of Edison were borderline rude when we did not buy from them for $44.3K OTD.

Also got quite competitive rate from Lexus finance. 2.39% for 60 months.

Default Good deal?

Looking around for my first Lexus. Is this a good deal in Dallas?

2014 ES300h
Luxury package with nav/premium audio package
Msrp: $46,763
Offer: $42,086

Dealer mentioned if I financed thru Lexus Financial, the dealer would take an additional $500 off

Thanks!

I'm not in the Dallas area but $42,086 seems to be in the ballpark of a good deal. I was at $42K for a similar 2014 ES300H but squeezed a few options out of the dealer to include tint & door edge guards (the only dealer add-ons I wanted).

I'd say you're within $800-$1000 of getting a "really, really nice" deal. In the end, I wouldn't loose sleep over a few hundred bucks though, cuz you'll be way too busy enjoying this car.

I find it quite interesting that most of the deals posted here for the ES are for purchases. In the GS and IS subforums, most people seem to be leasing. Wonder why that's so...

I think it's because the ES is a car people hold onto longer.

Default Es350

I have a quote from a dealer for a 2014 es 350, Mark Levinson, ultra lux pkg, msrp: 47,792 for 43,200, out the door: 46,200. This is in NJ. Does this sound like a good deal?

I would guess that differences in the percent of people buying or leasing an ES as compared to those buying or leasing an IS or a GS is related to a considerable extent by the demographics of those buying or leasing an ES compared to those of people buying or leasing an IS or a GS. I'm confident that ES buyers are typically considerably older than, especially, IS buyers and, to a smaller extent, GS buyers, and I would think that younger owners are more inclined to be leasing than would be older owners. I would also expect, for similar reasons, that there are more ES owners who bought their vehicles outright without the need to finance than would be the case for IS or GS owners.

Default Deal Details I got today

Hey guys -

Thought i'd share my deal details from today in NJ. Did a trade in, was slightly upside down but with the tax benefits of that, customer loyalty, the standard $500 lease cash, and free first month payment, it really worked out. On top of that, we got a refund from the extended warranty on the trade to help with the fees.

I think this is a very good deal on a 2014. Be interested to hear what you guys think.

Good luck to those in the market for a new car.

2014 Lexus ES350 (Luxury Package, Nav, Blind Spot)
MSRP: $44,247
Selling Price: $39,525 ($500 Customer Loyalty included)
Monthly Payment: $450 - 27 Months, 10K Miles

Thought this might help southern California people interested in a 300h

Purchased 2014 ES300h obsidian with black interior luxury package, nav, and premium audio with msrp of 46687 for a sale price of $40400. Otd was $44160.

Purchased through internet department at Longo Lexus. Very easy process. Purchased on the 23rd.
Hopefully this can help someone get a better deal.

I bought my fully loaded 2014 ES300h last week in Columbia SC. MSRP was $47,716. As I am a member of USAA I was able to get 6% of the list price. I traded a 2012 Prius V. They gave me an additional $400 on my trade-in whose value was based on the auction folks. They also gave me $100 off on dealer options......I got the protection package and prepaid for some services.

These cars appear to be selling quickly, but I do feel that I could have gotten a better deal. However I really like the car.

Sometimes "nicely equipped" or "well equipped" is more accurate than fully loaded etc.

13.5% below MSRP seems like a pretty good deal!
