Was the car hot? Were all the parts there?

That's about 5% below published (KBB, Edmunds, Cars) dealers cost. Of course, these costs do not reflect hold backs and other manufacturer incentives. Nonetheless, that's a damn good deal, or as Jerry said, 'steal'?

Hi, I'm new member and wanted to see if anyone can recommend a good dealership in the san francisco bay area (I'm new to this area) offering any good deals. Looking for ES350 with luxury package. I saw one last week in San Diego for 38k, is this a good price before title and tax? Also, they had 2 exactly the same but one with the real leather and the other with the nuluxe. The with with the nuluxe was 300 cheaper and he said that is the only difference and that the one with the real leather can be cool or heated fron seats but the one with the Nuluze comes with heated seats only. I really did not trust what he was telling me because he could not answer some basic questions that I had about the car.
Anyway, any help or experience buying in the bay area is much appreciated.
Thanks

Picked up a 2013 Gray ES350 (Luxury package, HID, Nav and blind spot ) for $40,398 (MSRP 44,398) for the wife on superbowl sunday at Lexus of Concord in Norcal. We were the only ones who bought a car that day

That's pretty good and below invoice. About the best we can do is around $3,100 off of the UL loaded... MSRP $47,622. I have found Trucar.com to be priceless. We searched within a 250 mile radius for dealers who had the exact car we wanted. Then we went to Trucar.com and entered the zip code for each dealer location to see what they would sell the car for. If you look long enough, you will find one that will sell at invoice (perhaps lower if they want to get into their holdback). You might be able to take that certificate to a closer dealer and get the same deal.
We can get another $1,000 off if we use LFS and finance it (not lease), but we are going with the 1.99% at PenFed.org on the Payment Saver Plan. It took about 15-20 minutes to fill out the info and get an approval online. They send you a check within a day or two. Much better deal than a lease to... no worrying about miles and the car will easily be worth your payoff in 24-60 months, which ever you choose. The rate is the same regardless of the months you choose. At that rate, why not 60?

as mentioned in another thread, Silver ES300h (Luxury Package, Nav, BSM, HID, Power Rear Sunshade, Parking Assist, Rain Sensing Wipers, Leather Trimmed Steering Wheel, Accessory Package). MSRP + $895 Delivery Fee $46,162. Invoice $43.4K. Got it for $41K even. Of course, being in Northern California sales tax ate up all my negotiations so final out the door price was $45.2.

That is what I've been told at three dealerships in DC and NC. They can't keep them on the shelf. I assume that means nobody is getting any kind of discounts from the dealer...
